April 19th and 20th Jen Petosa, Christy Blakely and Melissa Wills tore up the tarmac in Charleston, SC, with Blakely and Petosa placing third and fifth in the final dash to the line in Saturday's I'on Village Smackdown. A strong showing was also had at Sunday's criterium near the Citadel, with 6th, 10th and 12th place by Blakely, Petosa and Wills, respectively.

Meanwhile on April 19th, Deb Whitmore represented the team at the Knoxville Spring Omnium in Knoxville, TN, taking a strong 2nd place in the time trial amidst a windy gale. Later that afternoon she sprinted to fifth place in the road race. On Sunday, April 20th, Deb was joined by Cara McCauley in Knoxville for the Dogwood Criterium, where they placed 3rd and 4th, respectively, after animating the race and taking several primes.

April 26th brought four of the team's elite riders to the USA Crit Series Speed Week opener, the Athens Twilight Criterium in Athens, GA. The team represented solidly, securing the first call-up to the line for Christy Blakely. Every lap the first thing the crowd saw was the Athens BMW pace car leading the way, squealing through corners and providing mucho mike time for BMW and the squad.

Blakely continued to fly the team flag throughout the week at the races in Beaufort, Walterboro, and Greenwood, SC, being joined in Spartanburg, SC and Sandy Springs, GA by teammates Jen Petosa, Janet Edgerton, and Amy Slater.

At the Dilworth criterium in Charlotte, NC on Saturday, May 2 the team came together to help showcase the 328i pace car and X3s on display as presented by Hendrick BMW. After the entire squad animated the race Cora Olson and Amy Slater placed 7th and 8th, respectively.

This weekend the team takes a small break from racing in order to receive the new team 2008 X3s and learn how to drive them properly at the BMW Performance Center in Spartanburg, SC!
