Hannah, Missy take on Fitchburg - BMW-Bianchi does 24 Hours of Booty

Fitchburg recap:

Hannah Whitaker scored big at the Fitchburg-Longsjo Stage Race this week, taking 2nd in the Circuit Race and 9th overall!  Out of a field of 86 riders, Ms. Whitaker started out with a solid time trial to take 11th.  Determined to move up in the overall, she hammered up the steep stair-step final climb of the 2nd stage circuit ahead of the field, coming in just behind a solo breakaway.  This moved her up to 9th overall.  The next day's road race finished on top of a mountain, and the girl from Boone did not disappoint, riding in at 15th place after struggling with skipping gears.  In the criterium, a good 12th place finish was enough to keep her 9th overall.

In the women's Pro 1-2 race, Missy Petty flew the team colors, and came out with a very good result up Wachusett Mountain to finish 27th, only a minute and a half behind the winner!
